Technical Fire Consultant

Search People are working with a high profile Consultancy to recruit an experienced Technical Fire Consultant. The organisation prides itself on its people approach and offers a dynamic culture with lots of development opportunities to all their employees. The role is fully remote with potential to attend events and occasional visits to Head Office.
You will be a key member of organisation leading and convening passive working groups, lead on projects, writing articles and provide webinars to an internal and external audience. The role would suit someone who has good technical knowledge and awareness of building construction methods, regulations, and modern methods of construction and experience in passive fire protection.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research and produce analysis and white papers
- Give internal and external stakeholders technical support and coaching
- Represent the organisation at seminars, conferences and events and present talks when requested.
- Reviewing draft publications and preparing technical articles
- Support the senior executive team
- Provide technical advice and support to all departments
- Assisting Sales & Marketing for bid development
- Lead and participate in working groups
Experience:
- A relevant technical degree, preferably in a fire related discipline.
- 10 years’ experience in the industry with senior fire safety consulting / advisory capacity.
- A team player with proven relationship building with both internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent communicator both written and verbal with a collaborative style of working. Confident in presenting both in person and on webinars
- Experience working within the insurance industry would be advantageous but not a necessity.
